2. What You’re Getting
- Supply and installation of a solar PV system including panels, inverter, and/or battery as detailed in your contract.
- Installed by licensed and accredited installers.
- All products are new, genuine, and approved by the Clean Energy Council.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Total price is fixed as per your contract — no hidden charges.
- Deposit: no more than 10% of the contract price.
- Final payment is due only after installation is complete.
4. Installation Timing
We aim to install on the agreed date, subject to weather conditions and required approvals.
5. Warranties
Panel, inverter and battery warranties follow manufacturer terms (typically 5–25 years). Workmanship is covered by a minimum 5-year AHM Solar warranty. See our full Warranty Policy for details.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the property and ensure the roof/switchboard are in good condition.
- Follow all post-installation care instructions provided by AHM Solar.
7. Cooling-Off & Cancellation
- A 10-business-day cooling-off period applies from the date you sign.
- A full deposit refund applies if you cancel within this timeframe.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Contact AHM Solar directly first with any concerns — see our Complaints Handling Policy.
- If unresolved, you may contact Solar Victoria (1300 376 393) or the Energy & Water Ombudsman (Victoria) on 1800 500 509.
9. Important Note
Energy savings may vary based on your household’s energy use, applicable tariffs, and weather. Any savings estimates provided are not guaranteed.
